Master concept and ISO 81346
A unique solution where ISO 81346 and other standards are simplified
A unique solution where ISO 81346 and other standards are simplified
Plant, building and system information is growing to the extent that you have to structure the information. Master concept have since 1996 a built in support for our customers who need to structure their digital plant information both documents and objects according to ISO 81346, KKS, IEC 750 or SSG.
With the built in support for RDS 81346 Master concept offer also support for a historical customized in house RDS system created in the past but have to be supported also in the future.
The first section (-1) describes how to structure the information and how it is divided into usable areas. For example: room-oriented or function-oriented.
ISO 81346 –Part 1: Basic rules
The second part (-2) describes how to name equipment and systems. The standard describes how to divide the equipment and put the reference numbers so that everyone can recognize them, regardless of industry.
ISO 81346 -Part 2: Classification of objects and codes for classes
Master concept supports basic standards for structuring buildings and their functions. The standard contains description and explanations how the digital information structure of the buildings may look like.
Master concept have pre-made object templates and create object designations according to ISO 81346 automatically for both equipment and the construction elements of the building. CAD integrations with Architectural, electrical, plumbing, ventilation applications make the work even easier.
The name of the standard: Industrial systems, installations and equipment and industrial products –Structuring principles and reference designations
– Part 12: Buildings and building services
Master concept with an historical support for KKS support both old and new. Master concept has support for customers operating plants supplied under the old KKS and the new ISO 81346.
We educate in new standards and if new standards is planned to be implemented.
The standards name is: Industrial systems, installations and equipment and industrial products –Structuring principles and reference designations
– Part 10: Power plants
A further development of designation system. Previously called KKS.
Documentation is necessary for the provision of information for all activities during the life-cycle of technical products which include plants, systems and equipment. Documents may be produced during any project. Documents may be received from and delivered to other stake holders. Different stake holders need different information or different views of the same information.
IEC61355 -1: Classification and designation of documents for plants, systems and equipment
The purpose of the standard is to establish a method for better communication and understanding between stake holders involved in document exchange. In order to get one standardized way of how to label a document the IEC 1355 combines with RDS 81346 and make them independent on language or engineering culture.
IEC 61082 is an important pillar in the production of electrical documentation. The standard describes how things should look to easily be able to read and interpret the contents in the documents and lists. The contents of IEC 61082 also affects how symbols and functions in the CAD applications will create drawings and diagrams.
Master concept contains its own CAE application for production of electrical documentation and is one of the most widely used in the power industry.
